Formed in Oxford 1997 Antiques on High Ltd was the fall out from the closure of the “Jam Factory” Antiques Centre named for its long-standing history with Coopers Marmalade. Continuing that history Coopers took the lease of 84 and 85 the High Street between 1984 and 1987 running number 84 as a shop and 85 as the Coopers Marmalade museum.
Dismissing the myth of shady back room deals long associated with the Antiques trade, Antiques on High plays home to a wide range of credible dealers from Bowness on Windermere down to Devon and we take all major credit and debit cards.
With three stores strategically situated around the country and more planned, we are unrivalled in terms of our locations and our ability to move stock around the country on a weekly basis to suit the needs of the customer.
Each store carries an eclectic and ever changing selection of handpicked antique and vintage pieces including: Arts and crafts, dolls houses, chinaware, silver and jewellery, books and music, linens, cameras, glassware, copper and brassware, vintage fashion and accessories, ceramics and glass, pictures, prints and maps, postcards, antiquities, furniture, antique writing equipment, vintage fountain pens, desk furniture, luggage and collectables and much more.
